Yeah the Almax is not a "take with me chain" my one is really heavy, and while I *could* wear it on a ride, I really would not want too. However even a nice case hardened chain under 16mm is nothing more than a minor deterrent, and avoid crap like Oxford, you might as well just burn your ...

From what I've read & heard, most locks with integral jolt-sensors are rubbish; either they do not work, issue false alarms or are such low quality that the hardware is too-easily trashed. Can you fit a stand-alone alarm in your saddle-box or such ?? Getting the seat off a bike without a key is...

It wasn't a prank after all. I've had a chance to have a closer look at the bike and I can see some damage around the underside of the steering lock. Someone was trying to steal the bike and had moved it into the corner where they could have some time to attack the lock without being seen. They obvi...

I had a bit of a scare earlier this week. I live in an apartment complex with a shared parking garage on the ground level. Each apartment has a designated parking space in the garage. I don't own a car, I have a couple of motorbikes and I park both of them in my designated parking space (I own my ap...

May the farce be with you.

Or am I getting it mixed up with that scene when Gandalf said "Use the force Harry."

What do you think is going through the head of this broad's husband? Must have been an Andy Dufresne night for that guy. Maybe women <35 shouldn't be allowed to teach teenagers. Divorce proceedings and no alimony. I just hope they don't have children. My 12th grade English teacher was caught having...

Joking aside, what is the problem with these women? Do they just want a relationship where they wield 99% of the power? A lack of maturity and professional standards on the part of the teachers who do this. Cute young teachers will get a lot of amorous attention from their students, and while we ca...

That reminds me of a vid I saw about a teenage boy who fitted a home made flamethrower to a drone.

What could possibly go wrong with that? :D

Time to bump this thread because *drumroll* Lloyd (Lindybeige) has been paintballing, in a tank!

Ok, it's an IFV with a modified Sabre turret that uses compressed air to shoot ping pong balls filled with paint.

He's mentioned that he was in the RN and spent time at sea in several vids but I don't remember him mentioning exactly what he did.

There's an ex RN guy (he did his sea time on the surface, not in subs) on Youtube under the name The Mighty Jingles who's been posting some vids recently of himself playing this game. Most of Jingles' other game videos are for the much more arcadey World of Tanks and World of Warships. In one of his...

This reminds me of a joke about Europe I heard many years ago. What is the difference between heaven and hell? In heaven, the police are English, the chefs are French, the mechanics are German, the administrators are Swiss and the lovers are Italian. In hell, the chefs are English, the mechanics are...

I don't drink rum often enough to make any specific recommendations but one of my favourite youtube whiskey reviewers, Ralfy Mitchell, does review rums and other drinks from time to time. Here's a quick starter list for his rum reviews. https://www.google.com.au/search?num=50&site=&source=hp...

That's a two pounder, not a large gun. ;)

It's still bigger than a Bren, albeit with a lower rate of fire.
