SpaceX has completed it's refurbishment of LC39A and has conducted a static fire in preparation for the launch and landing of the 1st stage booster on 2/18.

The last unmanned launch from LC39A was all the way back in 1973 with the Skylab launch.

A successful launch this morning and recovery of the 1st stage at LZ-1. First launch from LC39A since the last STS launch in 2011. Dragon spacecraft is on its way to the ISS. This was also the first use of fully automated FTS. Instead of a human operator as primary, there is an automated FTS system. Which will reduce the number of range assets that are needed for each launch.

Nice Drone video of the landing, looks like SpaceX is getting the hang of the full propulsive landings. The entire landing sequence looks very smooth.
