So I just started work on a 1/700 Trumpter USS Tennessee and I realized that I seem to have the most of the parts to complete it as a Colorado class (at least it has four twin turrets in addition to the four triples). Since I already have an Arizona, with four triples I'm thinking of building this one with the twins just to be different. But I can't find out how much difference there is between the two classes. It doesn't seem to be much. Even if I'm the only person who's going to see it, I have an aversion to building inaccurate models. Any thoughts?

PS it looks like a really nice kit with some PE details included.

Looking at Friedman & Breyer, it looks like there may be some slight differences in the forward superstructure, probably slight variations unique to each ship. Otherwise, all other armament was the same with all changes being done to each of the 5 ships in a similar time frame. Same for the aviation facilities.
