Glad you're still with us.

On diet: opinions are like arseholes, everybody has one. What SWMBO and I have found is that anything which forces you to slow down and think about what you're eating is good. She's gone lactose free because it helps with some other health issues she's been having, which means we can't grab any old thing out of the supermarket and have to cook from scratch more. Can still eat most things, if we're willing to make them, but it's a deliberate choice rather than an impulse, and that means we eat less, and what we do eat is healthier. We now lose about a pound a week on average, not huge but quite good considering that it's basically zero effort.

It is good to hear that you have got over that.

Given my diet and lack of activity I will not presume to give advice. Except that for alcohol go to a pure Vodka. If you have to drink beer make sure it has more than 7% alcohol.

Keep up the good work.

Jonathan

Glad you are ok and still with us I'm almost in the same boat I had two mini strokes four weeks ago the first standing on a ladder fixing the roof and second as I was leaving the Hostpital an eye opener. Do what the men in white coats tell you other wise it can be fatale.
