I'm tempted to get Amazon prime just for that.

That does in fact appear to be the case. Not at all clear if we're getting a new not!Stig.

So the first episode is out, anyone else watch it yet?

I liked it anyway, the tweaks so far seems to be an improvement.

Yes, have watched this first episode and season 2 is an improvement over season 1.

It was good. Celebrity brain crash was amusing, although I think it had run its course. And I am glad they've managed to get their lawyers to sign off on the celebrity racing again. Which of course explains why they now have a permanent home. (That, and Jeremy being lazy.)

WRT Hammond's crash, it looks to me like he just missed the finish line and forgot to brake.

Hammond is on a roll. Two supercars wrecked and both in a very embarrassing manner. :)

So, I just discovered this. My wife turned in on this afternoon, and I caught the tail end of one the first season episodes (battleship with exploding cars). We've been watching it all afternoon--and my 5 year old son loves it :)

I am still trying to figure out how you mistake a jerry can of water with a jerry can of petrol.
