Looks like a new Stargate series, cannot find much about it yet, also appears to be online?

Filming is due to start late 2017?

Apparently ten episodes of ten minutes, so pretty much an online show.

Paranoid firewall...

Okay, what will it be ? Howard Carter makes an unexpected discovery before Tut ?? Indiana Jones and the Nazis from Procyon ?? Victorian Steampunk to the Stars ?? Those chthonic 'Mountains of Madness' in Antarctica hid the original Gate ??

Ah, posts crossed. Okay, it's the Langford family tale...

I'm getting sick of these exchangeable, generic subtitles for shows.

The teaser trailer is scenes from the directors cut of the original film "Stargate". That says a lot IMHO . . .

It doesn't look so promising to me. It has kind of a second rate Raiders of the Lost Ark vibe with those Germans wandering around Egypt with post 1941 weapons and vehicles. Unless this is set in 1941-42, that's going to break my suspension of disbelief. Oddly enough, I can accept Goa'uld and Jaffa in Egypt in the twenties and thirties easier than groups of uniformed SS and Wehrmacht.

I'd love to see a Stargate set around El Alamein that then leads to an SG-1 situation down the line only WWII was ground to a halt by a Goa'uld invasion forcing Britain and the Afirka Korps to work together, so now it's not just the US and Russia sending out expeditions but America, Britain, France, Italy, Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, all trying to work together in the 50s or 60s era.

I'd personally like to see it all under a wing of the British with the SG program set somewhere isolated and easy to defend like Malta or Gilbratar where the catacombs could be expanded beyond what they really are in the way Cheyenne got in SG-1.
