ATB left me utterly bored. Rather ineffectual aliens turn up in Sarf London and a bunch of yoof kill them. It's about the standard of a Jon Pertwee era Dr Who.

Looper on the other hand was a pretty good riff on the old time travel farrago. They don't waste too much time on explaining whys and wherefores, they don't make it hard. More of an action movie than science fiction, but that's fine.

I liked Looper, in large part because the trailer did not give the entire movie away, a refreshing change.

Attack the Block can be enjoyed, but it depends on if you view movies in different weight classes, ie give it some credit for having a budget probably 1/100 of a typical Hollywood release.
