I ran the last turn and I saw the result that I expected to see. The ancient Italian pre-dreg Dandolo fell victim to a well placed shot from the KKVI. You really need to armour your gun houses.... Bad coordite did the rest. The Dandolo wasn't able to hit anything in return firing once every 15 minutes. (Big Surprise...)

There is nothing else between the Austrian cruisers and their prey which is sitting helpless unloading on the island. The result is an uninteresting slaughter. Net win for Austria-Hungary. The Austrian cruisers had enough ammo to demolish the transports in about 1/2 an hour of firing.

The damage to both battlelines was severe. No additional pre-dreads were lost due to the Italian torpedo attack. They did torpedo the Monarch for the loss of three DD's with heavy damage to four others. The end result was the Italians were going to break off based on their losses. The Austrians probably shouldn't pursue.

Thanks for playing. You all helped me smooth out a lot of problems with this era's ships. THEY ARE CRAP! :P

Will there be a full breakdown of what was going on behind the fog of war?

The computer did the tactical stuff and a few humans made the strategic decisions.

My friend Bob rated the ships and declared them to be "pure crap".

Wow.

My tenure in command of this august fleet was a total of 15 minutes!

I hope that gets me a promotion to full admiral and all the plum brandy I can drink in what remains of my besotted life.

Or wait a minute... Wasn't Monarch the one I had my flag on? Did Monarch sink?

I'd be very interested in seeing the "Fog of war" analysis also.

Monarch was not sunk. She had her stern blown off.

What sort of view behind the scenes are you looking for from this battle?

Like what happened to Magnet for starters, or what the screen/scouting battles looked like from the GM's point of view. Essentially, I'd like the GM's perspective, telling us what things looked like from the Italian side - sort of how the historian would write it up.

Hurrah, we carried the day.

...now I just need someone to fish me out of the water so I can get back to my mistress in Belgrade...
