Here's some pics that have been on Yuckypoo from TLW: they illustrate CVW-5's aircraft. Thanks to John "Maverick" Lacey over on the What-if Modelers board for the illustrations.

More artwork: one more F-14D and two Super Bugs. For more of Maverick's artwork: go to http://www.whatifmodelers.com and have a look at not just his, but all the artists in the profiles and CGI section.

Thanks, Tom. Maverick Lacey deserves the credit for how the artwork came out. Some of the call signs need explanation: Debbie Bradley, "Goalie", had to be one when she was in NFO training. Seems a lot of guys were trying to score with her....And Kara Wade got hers, "Trunks" when she dived into a swimming pool and her bathing suit came off (oops!). Colleen McMurphy's "China B" because she has the same name as the China Beach character.

I don't know what we'd do without those two artists; they've done so much to bring the planes of TLW to life.

It would be a lot poorer, that's for certain. I'd forgotten just how prolific John and Mark had been on our behalf.

I really do like his new Photoshop style. You should have a look at his thread, the pics come out better over there for some reason.
