I don't know how to say this, but we lost Andrew Jensen aka ATMahan yesterday. Apparently his seizures were worse than anyone knew.

We're all going to miss him.

Thks,
KM

Oh no. That is terrible news indeed. He was one of the longest-serving members of our community and a stalwart foundation of knowledge and common sense. He will indeed be greatly missed.

Sleep Well, ATMahan. Your friends here are praying for you.

That is indeed a loss. He's been here a very long time. Fair winds and following seas, friend.

Oh, dear...
{Shudder}
IIRC, he privately complimented me on how scarily realistic were the seizures of the hero of 'The Bus' ...
(Still technically WIP)

Problem is that each and every seizure, large or small, puts your life on the line.

There are many, many failure modes; like an air-crash, rolling snake-eyes on a quorum puts you into terrain...

RIP, Sir. I'll miss your wit and quips...

...Aw, hell. Rest well, Mahan. You will be sorely missed.

It's such a shame because the way he posted it always seemed like he had so much more to share that he always pulled away from. Left you wanting more.

How old was he?

I'll miss that rare voice of sanity and proportion and wit that he provided. So long my friend. Damn.

Tragic. Very sad to hear. His family is in my prayers.

That's very sad to hear. RIP to our treasured Mr. Jensen and deepest condolences to his family.

I shall miss his witty retorts and insightful commentary a lot from the relatively short time I knew him.

I found this: http://www.obitsforlife.com/obituary/11 ... Andrew.php

I don't even know what to say. I'm just stunned. We never met, but exchanged posts often, especially in the heyday of warships1 and when he was writing Rule Britannia, and we spoke once when he was going to have brain surgery. As Greg said, he had a rare voice, and I'm glad he shared it with us.

Now he knows the Great Secret, and can have all of his questions answered in person, he just can't tell us anything about it.

RIP.
